Being a true native to the Northwest I am in awe of my surrounding beauty and have always been drawn to organic mediums and intense colors. Creating, discovering and following my passions are the forces that move me. I create globally and intuitively; surround myself with materials and go the direction they take me. My mediums have ranged from paint, charcoal, fabrics, clay, to my current love of glass and metal. Complimenting my materials I work with found objects, take apart and use the parts of old Typewriters, machines, you name it. At present I create in a series of moments being a mom to three active boys. J
